The Apple Campus, located in the southern San Francisco Bay Area of California, is the new headquarters of Apple Inc. with a hinterland of 176 acres. Designed by architect Norman Foster, the circular building adopts a neo-futuristic style, and its aerial view has been hailed as a "spaceship", which, combined with Apple's brand image, reveals a mysterious sense of future technology. The Apple campus is 1.46 square kilometers in length, 80% of which is made up of green space. In addition to the drought-tolerant trees native to the Cupertino area, an artificial pond is placed in the central courtyard of the main building. The park can accommodate a total of 12,000 Apple employees.
