Outboard Motor Propeller

An electric outboard motor is a marine electric drive system that uses a recyclable battery as an energy source and converts electrical energy into kinetic energy through an electric motor. The kinetic energy output of the motor is transmitted to the propeller through the transmission shaft in the gearbox, covering the high-performance electric outboard motor from 3 to 40 horsepower, as well as the supporting battery and control system. Performance features such as maintenance are further improved, and powerful functions such as ship networking, smart touch, and dual-machine linkage are further realized, providing reliable power for navigation.

Amphenol LTW provides customers with a set of customized Ceres circular connector board ends and corresponding overmolded cables, which are used in electric outboard motors and are mainly used for power charging and discharging functions. The electric outboard machine is hung on the ship, and the use environment is relatively strict, and the waterproof and salt spray requirements for the connector are relatively high. Amphenol LTW's connector materials, in addition to using RoHS / REACH and UL certified standard materials, and the overall waterproof level can reach IPX7. Ceres circular board-end connectors can guarantee waterproof even when they are not mated. This is a very important and important function for equipment exposed to external harsh environments in most cases.

In addition, the ability to resist ultraviolet rays in the temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, multiple plug-in times (2000 cycles) and pass 1000 hours of salt spray test, etc., so that its products can withstand harsh environments.
