Passenger Information System is essential for the modern public transportation in the cities and communities. It makes the transportation network more reliable, for both the operators and the travelers, to have access and maintain the necessary and real time information. And on-board solutions are of the same usage.
Amphenol LTW offers a wide range of product in our M Sensor Series. Ranging from M5, M8, M10.5, M12 (A, B, D, S, T, X Code), to M23 connectors. For our M8 Series, we also offer connectors with guided keys and the option with adding LED lighting on the connector, in order to know the working status of the connectors. The current rating of this series ranges from 1.5A~28A, with the working voltage from 30 to 250V. In terms of pin numbers, for our standard products, we have currently 3 to 28 pins available.
Our products are known for being applied in harsh environment. The vehicles and stations of the public transportation can be in very extreme environment, such as in cities with heavy snow and very low temperature. Our M Series products can withstand temperature from minus 40 degree Celsius, to 105 degree Celsius, and with even higher temperature upon request. As of the level of the waterproof rating, we offer from IPX5, IPX7, to IPX8.
