On May 4, 2018, in a lawsuit patent infringement lawsuit filed by Amphenol LTW Technology Co., Ltd. (“ALTW“, and its affiliate “Kunshan Amphenol Zhengri Electronic Co., Ltd.”) against Chogori Technology Co., Ltd. ( “Chogori “) and its distributor Dongguan Temos Electronic Technology Co., LTd.(Temos), the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court in China announce a judgment that Chogiri infringes ALTW’s waterproof connector patents.
In the lawsuit, ALTW alleges that waterproof connector products manufactured by Chogori and distributed by Temos in China infringe upon several of ALTW’s China patents. Therefore, the Shenzhen Intermediate People’s Court, in its decision, announce a permanent injunction restricting Chogori from the manufacture, use, offer to sell, sale of such products, and sentence compensation on ALTW’s damages.
ALTW seeks to protect its patents and other intellectual property rights and takes actions against alleged infringers in any country wherever appropriate and necessary.
